Ivan Emelianenko was released from a colony in the Belgorod region
MMA fighter Ivan Emelianenko was released from prison on parole; the corresponding video was published in the Telegram channel “112”.
Earlier in September, it became known that the Alekseevsky District Court of the Belgorod Region granted Emelianenko’s request for parole.
In December last year, the Stary Oskol City Court sentenced Emelianenko to 1 year and 6 months in prison. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”). In early November, it became known that a fighter caused serious harm to a man’s health during a street conflict.
Ivan Emelianenko is the younger brother of fighters Alexander and Fedor Emelianenko.
He fought one fight in Ural FC in March 2024, defeating the Iranian Ali Heibati in a fight according to the rules of boxing with MMA gloves.
