Ankalaev lost four positions in the UFC rankings, regardless of weight category

Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev moved from seventh to 11th place in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ranking regardless of weight category (P4P), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.

On Saturday, in the main event of UFC 320 in Las Vegas, Ankalaev lost to Brazilian Alex Pereira and lost his light heavyweight belt. Pereira rose from 10th to sixth position in the P4P ranking, with current UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria in first place.

In the light heavyweight rankings, Ankalaev shares first place with Czech Jiri Prochazka.

In the bantamweight division, Russian Petr Yan rose one place and is in second position, like his compatriot Umar Nurmagomedov.

Russian Yana Santos (Kunitskaya), who defeated American Macy Chiasson at UFC 320, moved from 10th to fifth place in the women’s bantamweight rankings.

Ankalaev is 33 years old, during his MMA career he won 20 victories, suffered two defeats and ended one fight in a draw, one of his fights was declared invalid.
