Kravtsov: “We will work on organizing the fight between Sosulin and WBA champion Barau in the spring”
The team of Russian boxer Pavel Sosulin will work on organizing a fight with WBA junior middleweight champion Abass Barau. Chairman of the coaching council of the Russian Boxing Federation Eduard Kravtsov told Match TV about this.
On Thursday in Samara at the “IBA.PRO 12” tournament, held as part of the “Russia is a Sports Power” forum, Sosulin knocked out Spaniard Jorge Fortea in the second round and defended the IBA.PRO Intercontinental junior middleweight belt. 31-year-old German Barau has held the WBA junior middleweight championship belt since September. Barau has 17 wins and one loss in the professional ring.
