Makhachev successfully weighed in for his fight with Della Maddalena at UFC 322 in New York
Russian mixed martial arts fighter Islam Makhachev successfully passed the weigh-in procedure before his fight with Australian Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 in New York, according to the promotion’s website.
The title fight between Della Maddalena and Makhachev will headline Saturday’s tournament in New York. Makhachev vacated the UFC lightweight title to fight for the welterweight belt. This will be the Australian’s first title defense in the welterweight division since defeating American Belal Muhammad in May.
The Russian showed 77.11 kg on the scales, Della Maddalena – 77.02 kg.
