Russian boxers Kool and Bizhamov won early victories at the World Championships in Dubai
Russian boxer Evgeny Kool, competing in the weight category up to 67 kg, made it to the 1/8 finals of the World Championship in Dubai.
In the 1/16 finals, Kool defeated Sri Lankan representative Kabawak Pathmasiri in the first round by technical knockout.
Another Russian, Dzhambulat Bizhamov (up to 80 kg), also won by technical knockout in the 1/16 finals, defeating Tevita Malupo from Tonga.
At the World Championships, the Russian team performs with national attributes. The tournament’s prize fund is $8.32 million. The competition ends on December 13th.
