Russian boxers Peglivanyan and Koldenkov reached the 1/8 finals of the World Championships in Dubai

Russians Andrey Peglivanyan and Sergey Koldenkov made it to the 1/8 finals of the World Boxing Championship in Dubai (UAE).
Peglivanyan, competing in the 57kg weight category, defeated Patson Ledson from Malawi in the second round.
Koldenkov (up to 71 kg) turned out to be stronger than the Indian representative Yashpal Yashpal. After the first round, the seconds of the Russian’s opponent announced their refusal to continue the fight.
The World Men’s Boxing Championship runs from December 2 to 13. 13 Russian boxers started in the tournament, the team performs under national symbols – with the flag and anthem of Russia. The prize fund of the tournament is $8.32 million.
