Russian judoka Endovitsky won gold at the Grand Slam tournament in Tokyo
Russian judoka Valery Endovitsky won a gold medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Tokyo.
In the final bout in the over 100 kg weight category, Endovitsky defeated Japanese representative Hyogu Ota.
The Grand Slam tournament takes place in Tokyo on December 6–7.
On November 27, the executive committee of the International Judo Federation (IJF) returned to Russian judokas the right to compete at international tournaments under the national flag, anthem and symbols.
