Ataev and Mutsolgov reached the final of the World Boxing Championship in the UAE
Russian boxers Ismail Mutsolgov and Sharabutdin Ataev reached the finals of the World Championship, which is taking place in Dubai (UAE).
In the semi-finals of the weight category up to 86 kg, Ataev defeated Georgiy Kushitashvili from Georgia by unanimous decision.
Mutsolgov (up to 75 kg) defeated Djibril Traore from Mali by unanimous decision.
The men’s world boxing championship will end on December 13. 13 Russian boxers started in the tournament, the team performs with national symbols – the flag and anthem of Russia. The competition’s prize fund is $8.32 million.
