One of the world’s most promising heavyweights destroyed his opponent in one round
On the night of December 21, the boxing night of the influential promoter Eddie Hearn took place at the Legon Sports Stadium in Accra (Ghana).
On the main card, the fight for ratings was waged by a talented Englishman, one of the most promising heavyweights in the world. Leo Atang (2-0, 2 KOs) destroyed Baba Yusuf (3-0, 1 KO) from Uganda in the first round.
Atang completely dominated the ring, moving perfectly on his feet, surpassing his opponent in speed and agility. In one of the episodes, the 18-year-old boxer hit Yusuf with a hook and then successfully and calmly defeated his opponent.
The referee had to stop the kick and record the victory for the English.
Atang had his third fight in 2025 – none of the opponents lasted at least three minutes. The talented heavyweight signed a contract with Eddie Hearn ahead of his professional debut.
