“Peter, you deserve it.” Makhachev congratulated Yan on winning the UFC title
UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev congratulated Petr Yan on defeating Merab Dvalishvili and winning the bantamweight title.
Yan defeated Dvalishvili in the main event at UFC 323 in Las Vegas. After five rounds, the judges unanimously gave victory to the Russian (49:46, 49:46, 48:47).

Yan took revenge from Dvalishvili. Their first fight took place in March 2023, when the Georgian fighter won by unanimous decision.

Former IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight world champion, British Anthony Joshua He will have to pay approximately $48.6 million in taxes from his purse for his fight with popular American boxing blogger Jake Paul.

According to the source, both Jake and Anthony earned $93 million per fight. Since the fight took place in the United States, Joshua’s purse is subject to federal income tax at the highest rate: 37%, or about $34.5 million.
