Agrba defeated Munhoz to become mandatory challenger for WBA belt
Russian boxer Khariton Agrba defeated Argentinean Ruben Munoz in a fight at the Betsity IBA.PRO 13 tournament in Dubai.
The twelve-round junior welterweight bout ended with Agrba winning by unanimous decision. The winner received mandatory challenger status according to the WBA.
Agrba and Munoz met in July in Yekaterinburg at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament, when the Argentine knocked out his opponent in the second round. In that fight, Agrba lost the IBF Intercontinental and WBA Continental titles.
The 30-year-old Russian has 17 victories and one defeat, while the 28-year-old Munhoz has 18 fights won and three defeats.
The IBA.PRO 13 tournament is broadcast live by Match TV and Match Fighter.
