Pavel Durov: “It’s great to see Petr Yan win the UFC title”
The co-founder of the Telegram messenger Pavel Durov said that he was proud of the victory of the Russian fighter Petr Yan in the fight for the UFC bantamweight title against the Georgian Merab Dvalishvili.
Yan defeated Dvalishvili in the main event at UFC 323 in Las Vegas. Following the results of five rounds, the judges unanimously gave victory to the Russian.
“It’s great to see my gym mate Petr Yan win the UFC title,” Durov wrote on the Telegram channel.
Yan is 32 years old, during his MMA career he won 20 victories and suffered five defeats. The Russian regained his UFC belt; he won it for the first time in a fight with Brazilian Jose Aldo in July 2020. In March 2021, in his first defense, he lost the title in a fight with American Aljamain Sterling.

Former IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight world champion, British Anthony Joshua He will have to pay approximately $48.6 million in taxes from his purse for his fight with popular American boxing blogger Jake Paul.
Their fight took place on December 20 in Miami (Florida, USA) and ended with Joshua winning by knockout in the sixth round.
According to the source, both Jake and Anthony earned $93 million per fight. Since the fight took place in the United States, Joshua’s purse is subject to federal income tax at the highest rate: 37%, or about $34.5 million.
Additionally, Joshua will have to pay tax on his $14.1 million foreign income as a British citizen.
