Lennox Lewis explains why Joshua didn’t destroy Paul in the opening rounds
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis I appreciated the victory Anthony Joshua In the fight against Jake Paul. According to the legendary Briton, form and experience played an important role in the fight.
“It was obvious Anthony hadn’t been in the ring for 15 months. It took him a while, a few rounds, to get into the fight and feel the rhythm, but then he started throwing punches. He did his job the way he was supposed to do it.”
He had an opponent who moved a lot, so Anthony had to chase him. It was all about physical fitness, after all: Paul looked unprepared, especially for such a big heavyweight. After a few rounds you could see he was just standing there waiting to get shot,” Lewis said.
