Kremlin: “IBA would be happy to organize a fight between Petr Yan and Conor McGregor”
President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev said that the organization is ready to organize a boxing match between UFC bantamweight champion Russian Petr Yan and former title holder in two weight categories Irishman Conor McGregor.
— On social networks, you remembered the IBA forum in 2023, when you organized a sterdown between Ian and McGregor. How real is this confrontation?
“You know, I haven’t talked to McGregor yet. Yes, I posted it. It will be very interesting for both. We need to decide on the weight. It will be interesting to watch this fight. The International Boxing Association would be happy to organize such a fight. We expect from them. If they agree, we are ready,” the Match TV correspondent reports Kremlev’s words.
