UFC light heavyweight fighter Bogdan Guskov said that he asked his managers to begin negotiations with the league leadership about scheduling a fight for the end of February or the beginning of March.

At UFC 323 in Las Vegas, Guskov fought with Jan Blachowicz, which ended in a draw. In the UFC, Guskov has had six fights since 2023, losing only in his debut match to Volkan Oezdemir.
