“They don’t know what they’re seeing.” Star boxer bravely assessed Usik’s level
Famous American heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) evaluated the level of the Ukrainian champion Alexandra Usika (24-0, 15 knockouts):
“I don’t think Usyk is the best boxer of all time. Those who say this are probably his fans, they should say this. These are his people. Probably many people from Ukraine also say this. Apart from them, very few people say this. But most people do not understand boxing.
Many fans don’t know what they’re seeing and don’t understand what they’re watching. The structure of this job, its basics, taking a certain position, fighting, etc. They don’t know the real things that need to be done.”
