One of the best boxers of our time talks about retiring
On Saturday, December 27, in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the Ring V boxing night will take place, the main event of which will be the fight of the absolute world champion. Naoi Inoue From Japan and Mexican competitor Alan David Picasso.
On the eve of this confrontation, the Japanese “Beast” shared his expectations from the upcoming confrontation and also talked about a possible retirement.
“I can’t afford to lose. My motivation depends on where I am in the league. I have achieved results that satisfy me.
But now I am 32 years old and my expectations are very clear. We’re talking about retirement… At this stage of my career, it’s becoming more and more obvious that I will retire one day.
I’m doing the same show with Junto Nakatani, so fans will be looking forward to next year. So I need to show them I’m still in the game. Our common victory is our highest priority.
I’ve had a high performance so far and I’m proud. If that feeling of satisfaction starts to fade, then you’ll probably start to lose weight. When you stop testing yourself, it all ends,” Inoue concluded.
