The British boxer, who won gold at the 2012 Olympics, suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.

“The main thing here is that he completed his boxing career. This makes us very happy, because every time he enters the ring, we always experience strong emotions. Every time he gets knocked down, it’s like our hearts fall out of our chests. All these emotional experiences during his fights are too much trauma for us. Now that he said he is leaving, we are happy,” Adedamola Joshua was quoted as saying by the Nigerian publication Punch.
