UFC champion Topuria won the first trial against his ex-wife
Former UFC featherweight champion and current UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria has won his first trial against his ex-wife Georgina Uzcategui, Marca reports.
The athlete appeared in court for cases of violence against women in the city of Mostoles. The court rejected his ex-wife’s request to take their daughter out of Spain.
Uzcategui will not be able to take their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter out of the country until a divorce is decided and a schedule of meetings with Topuria is established.
The woman justified her necessary departure from Spain by the harassment she suffered on social networks, but the judge rejected these arguments, pointing out that the exit tickets were purchased 12 days before Ilia Topuria made a statement to the media.
