After being involved in a serious accident, Joshua began training at the gym
Former WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight world champion, Briton Anthony Joshua, returned to training after a traffic accident that killed two people.
The accident occurred on December 29 on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The Lexus SUV Joshua was in collided with a stationary truck. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the accident occurred due to a burst tire when the Lexus exceeded the speed limit on this section of the road. In addition to Joshua and the driver, there were two other people in the car who died on the spot. The British boxer, who won gold at the 2012 Olympics, suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.
Joshua posted a video on social media with the caption: “Therapy to build resilience.” The footage shows him practicing punches and doing exercises.
Earlier, the uncle of the athlete Adedamola Joshua said that the boxer had decided to end his professional career.
Joshua defeated American blogger Jake Paul on December 19 in a fight in Miami. In total, 36-year-old Joshua has 29 wins and four losses in his career.

The fight between Australian boxer Nikita Tszyu and his compatriot Michael Zerafa was declared invalid due to Zerafa’s injury.
The fight for the WBO International middleweight belt took place in Brisbane (Australia). The fight was stopped in the second round by the ring doctor due to a cut near Zerafa’s eye, which he received as a result of an accidental clash of heads. According to the media, the audience greeted the decision to interrupt the fight with a disapproving roar.
Tszyu is 27 years old; in the professional ring he previously won 11 victories in 11 fights (9 by knockout). The 33-year-old Zerafa has 34 victories, five defeats and one declared void fight (against Tszyu).
Nikita Tszyu is the son of former absolute world welterweight champion Konstantin Tszyu.

“The crowd is speaking on behalf of Kabayel. Usyk should be next. The Usyk-Wilder fight makes no sense. Nobody will pay for it. Usyk needs a certain price and this fight will not give that. So I don’t think we will see Usyk-Wilder.
Kabayel is invincible, now a star and a magnet for the public. He hits the body but they say Usyk doesn’t like it. Who likes body shots? This could be a very interesting challenge.
I want to see Usik against a new name, not against 40-year-old experienced players. Kabayel is now a real threat. Oladipo said there should be a fight between Kabayel and Usyk.

The WBA titleholder is accused of domestic violence, according to ESPN. The order was issued under various articles: illegal imprisonment, attempted kidnapping, beating and others.
Miami Gardens Police Department spokesman Emmanuel Jeanty said law enforcement is currently trying to locate Gervonta.
Davis has had repeated troubles with the law, and in October 2025, he was involved in an incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Courtney Rossel. Allegedly, the American boxer came to the strip club where she was working as a waiter and beat and threatened her.
Police confirmed Courtney’s statement after reviewing CCTV footage.
