The only boxer Usik does not like returning to the ring at the age of 41
Former WBO world welterweight champion Marco Huck (43-5-1, 28 KOs) will fight at age 41. This was reported by the authoritative publication BILD.
The German representative will enter the ring at the Gerry Weber Arena in Halle (North Rhine-Westphalia). The fight will take place on February 14, Marco’s supporters continue to look for an opponent.
Hook is known to Ukrainian fans for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk in the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) in 2017.
Usyk stopped his opponent in the tenth round, the referees recorded the victory by technical knockout. Later, the Ukrainian boxer admitted that Marko was the only opponent he did not like in his career.
Hook has only competed in one fight in the last five years – defeating Eugenios Lazaridis (Greece) at the heavyweight limit via unanimous decision in June 2024.
