One of the world’s best boxers failed a meldonium doping test
“B” example of WBO and IBF middleweight world champion Zhanibek Alimkhanuly confirmed the presence of banned substances. This was announced by the President of the Kazakhstan Professional Boxing Federation Rakhimzhan Erdenbekov, referring to the final VADA report from the USA.
“The 34-page final review was recently received and the “B” sample confirmed the existence of doping. Our federation has now taken jurisdiction over Zhanibek,” the official said.
According to him, the investigation into the cases of meldonium entering the boxer’s body is ongoing. The hearing of the case will continue on January 23. The doping incident emerged on the eve of Alimkhanuly’s potential fight against Erislandy Lara for three championship belts.

DigiPlus has announced a partnership with world boxing legend Manny Pacquiao to launch a series of collaborative digital gambling games. The project celebrates the athletic journey, endurance and legacy of one of the most famous Filipino athletes.

According to DigiPlus management, the collaboration aims to create original and local content for Filipino audiences. Pacquiao stated that the games reflect his own life path and are designed to inspire players with perseverance and self-confidence.

Konstantin Tszyu – about a master class for Baltika football players: “If there is the right offer, then why not?”
Former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu answered the question whether he was ready to hold a master class for the Kaliningrad Baltika football players.
During training camps, Baltika players did combat fitness – tai-bo.
“I believe that boxing training will be useful for any team – not only in football, but in all sports: rugby, swimming, and so on. Because the amount of general physical training that exists in boxing is the best that can be for any athlete. So I am all for this practice.
— Are you ready to hold a boxing master class for Baltika football players?
— It all depends on the offer. If the right offer comes, then why not? I’m ready to share my experience with any athletes,” Tszyu told RB Sport.
Baltika is in fifth place in the RPL standings with 35 points.

Former world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) will fight against American Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs), WBC, WBA and IBF champions Alexandra Usika (24-0, 15 knockouts).
This fight will only be possible if Wilder beats Briton Dereck Chisora in London. This was reported by authoritative insider Dan Rafael.
“Wilder and Chisora are finalizing the fight, which will take place in London in April. The possibility of Deontay challenging lineal/unified champion Oleksandr Usyk has been discussed recently.
The parties have remained in contact but the fight will not take place at a later date – Wilder will fight Chisora instead.
The Usik-Wilder fight will take place if the Americans win in London. Usyk is currently expected to defend his title against another opponent; former champion Andy Ruiz Jr. “He is being considered as a possible rival,” he said.
Andy Ruiz shocked the boxing world in June 2019 when he defeated Britain’s Anthony Joshua to become the world champion. In the rematch, the Mexican American was defeated, and then had three more fights (two wins and one draw).
