VIDEO. Sold close to winning but lost by TKO
Ukrainian middleweight Maxim Prodan (19-2-1, 15 KOs) attended a boxing night in Milan, Italy, where he fought 36-year-old Venezuelan Luis Enrique Romero (11-5-1, 7 KOs).
This fight was the first for Prodan after losing to Romanian Florian Mark on the bottom card of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk in London.
He was close to victory when Prodan sent his opponent to the canvas with a powerful and accurate hit in the sixth round. However, Romero was able to get up and continue the fight.

Already in the seventh round, everything turned upside down: Romero began to beat Prodan, and the 29-year-old Ukrainian, although not relegated, could not do anything and missed a lot. The referee first counted the standing knockouts and a little later recorded a technical knockout.

Now unbeaten 9 months ago, Prodan has two defeats in a row and their prospects for the top spot are dubious.
