Anthony Joshua: “I’m planning to kill Usyk”
British heavyweight Anthony Joshua shared some of his preparations for the rematch with WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine. According to Anthony, this is the first time in his career that he is developing a plan for a particular fighter.
“I can say that for the first time in my career we have developed a specific fight plan for a fighter. I mostly managed without basic skills, but it turned out that was not enough. Therefore, from now on, we will strictly adhere to our plan during the preparations. Let’s see what will happen. “I plan on going back to basics and killing this guy,” Joshua said.
Recall that Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua fought at the Tottenham Hotspur arena in London, England on September 25. The Ukrainian won unanimously.
The opponents are expected to play a rematch in July.
Earlier, organizer Eddie Hearn said that the official announcement of the Usyk-Joshua rematch will happen soon.
