Russian fighter Akhmed Aliyev made his debut at the promotion of Khabib Nurmagomedov Eagle FC.
The opponent of 32-year-old Aliyev was 34-year-old American Darrell Horcher. The lightweight competition took place from May 20-21 (Moscow time) as part of the Eagle FC 47 tournament in Miami and ended 30 seconds after the start. Horcher remained on the ground after Aliyev’s accurate shot, began to finish off his Russian opponent, and the referee stopped the fight.
This victory for Aliyev took 21st place in 28 career matches. Horcher, who faced Nurmagomedov in the UFC in 2016 and lost to him by TKO in the second round, suffered his 6th defeat in 20 matches.
