The head of the International Boxing Association Kremlev presented Bivol with a car for the victory over Alvarez
President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev awarded Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol with a car for his victory over Mexican Saul Alvarez.
WBA (Super) champion Bivol on May 7 in Las Vegas by unanimous decision defeated the highest paid boxer on the planet, the absolute world champion in the second middleweight, world champion in four weight categories Alvarez. Only Bivol’s belt was at stake in the fight.
– I sincerely rooted for Dmitry Bivol, who won a grand victory over Saul Alvarez. The fight was fair, and most importantly, beautiful and dynamic. Dmitry is the undefeated absolute champion. In connection with the victory, I decided to support the winner and give him a car. Sauly, in turn, I wish you not to lose heart, take a hit and achieve new heights. Thank you for showing such a wonderful fight, delighting all the fans with beautiful boxing,” wrote the Kremlin on the Telegram channel.
Bivol now has 20 wins in 20 fights (11 by knockout). Alvarez suffered the second defeat of his career, having previously only lost to Floyd Mayweather.

Absolute world champion in the second lightweight category Naoya Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) commented on the victory of the fight played on Saturday, December 27th.
In Saudi Arabia, the Japanese representative defeated Mexican Alan David Picasso by unanimous decision and defended his WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles.
After the final bell, the reporter asked Inoue whether he should take the first place in the ranking of the world’s strongest boxers, which is currently occupied by Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“Mr. Usyk came to watch my fight tonight, but I’m actually not very happy with my performance. I should have done much better. So I won’t say anything about the rankings and I’ll do much better next time,” Inoue admitted.
Usik visited Riyadh to watch the Japanese “Beast” fight and after the fight, he went to the ring to congratulate the champion on his victory.

The strongest boxers of our time – Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Japanese Naoya Inoue – We met in the ring of Mohammed Abdo Aren in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on December 27th.
On this day, a boxing night took place, the main event of which was the fight in the weight category up to 55.3 kg. WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF world champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) defeated his Mexican opponent Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).
The fight continued for all 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for the Japanese “Beast” by unanimous decision.
After the final gong, Usik approached the champion in the ring, congratulated him on his victory and shook hands. Inoue admitted that he was not 100% satisfied with his performance and appreciated the Ukrainian’s place in the ranking of the strongest boxers of our time.
Next year, Usik plans to fight against former American champion Deontay Wilder, and Naoya is considering two options: Junto Nakatani or Jesse Rodriguez.
