Taras Kiyashko, coach of Russian UFC fighter Alexander Volkov, said that he will be his ward’s assistant in the fight against Surinamese Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Recall that the duel between Volkov and Rozenstruik will make the headlines at the UFC Fight Night tournament in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 4th.

“Alexander is now in America. It feels great, everything is fine. Unfortunately, the coaches couldn’t fly there because we didn’t have a visa. In principle, when Alexander took this fight, he realized that he might have to fly alone.

Corners for Alexander will be Kenny Johnson from Black House gym and Tiki Ghosn, Cheick Congo’s trainer, and many other guys from the UFC. Tyki is a close friend of Dana White. In the past, he has competed in the UFC. It was Tiki who helped Alexander with his striking technique when I could not fly due to visa to Alexander’s first two fights at Bellator, ”Kiyashko said in an interview with SE.

Alexander Volkov fought 44 fights in mixed martial arts and won 34 victories.
