Boxing European Championship medal standings. Ukraine national team is out of the top 10
Ukraine team completed european championship 2022 13th in overall medal standings in boxing. The competitions were held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, between 23-30 May.
Only Ukrainian athletes won 4 bronze medalsawarded for reaching the semi-finals. For the first time since 2015, the blue-yellows went without a gold medal and a final.
Previously, the Ukrainians were consistently in the top 3 of the continental championship: in Minsk-2013 they took third place (1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze), in Kharkov-2017 the blue-yellows won in the team standings (3-1 -2) and in Minsk 2019, they were second behind Great Britain (2-1-1).
In the entire history of participation in the continental championships, Ukraine currently has 58 medals: 16 gold, 13 silver and 29 bronze.
