UFC fighter who beat nurse to avoid covid shot to face trial

Brazilian UFC fighter Paulo Costa, who hit a nurse because of a vaccination certificate, will stand trial, according to MMA Fighting.
It was previously reported that Costa walked into a room designated for COVID-19 vaccinations and said he wanted to get vaccinated. When the certificate was completed, the athlete took it and decided to leave the premises without getting vaccinated. The nurse tried to stop the fighter, after which she was hit in the face with her elbow.
— The 31-year-old suspect and the 26-year-old victim were taken to the Contagem municipality police station. The victim is interested in initiating a criminal case. Both parties agreed to appear at the hearing in court, — quotes the words from the statement of the MMA Fighting police.
