Tony Bellew: Joshua needs to step up and knock Usyk out
Former British boxer Tony Bellew believes that only strength and athleticism can help Anthony Joshua beat Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch.
“Changing coaches is the right decision for Joshua. He needs new ideas, a new approach. Anthony has to have a different approach: to see and destroy the opponent. You don’t need to try to box with a good boxer. You have to pull him into the fight. Joshua is very strong. There are points—athletics, strength, power.”
“We need to use that and not look for anything else. He needs to step up and knock out. But now Joshua can’t have a stronger opponent than Usyk.
“This guy is incredible and it’s so hard to beat him,” Bellew said.
