Organizer Joshua: “Losing to Usyk is not a disaster. He is number one now.”
Eddie Hearn, promoter of Anthony Joshua, hopes that sooner or later he can organize a big fight against Tyson Fury.
But first Joshua has to beat Oleksandr Usyk.
“I think the Joshua-Fury fight will always be appropriate. I’m always asked when Anthony will fight Tyson. Of course Joshua doesn’t want to lose a second time to Usyk, but Alexander is probably number one among boxers right now, regardless of weight category. Losing to Usyk isn’t a disaster, but I think Joshua and Fury’s fight for all belts will be the greatest in recent memory.
“I think if Anthony can get over Usyk, then we’ll definitely see him fight Fury for all titles,” Hearn said.
Fight Usyk – Joshua will take place at the end of August.
