Not Usyk and Joshua. Organizer determines Fury’s opponent
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum talked about the future of WBC world champion Tyson Fury.
The Briton had previously announced his retirement, but the organizer is confident that his ward will return to the ring.
“He’s going to fight, he’s a fighter and I expect Tyson to be back in the ring before the end of the year. I think if Joe Joyce wins his fight in early July, Fury and Joyce will be as good if not better than Tyson’s fight with Dillian Whyte at Wembley in early October.
This will lead him to fight the winner of the Joshua-Usyk fight. I will do everything in my power to make this fight happen in the UK. “I don’t think this level of fights is good for boxing in Saudi Arabia,” Arum said.
