Prodivus was removed from the FBU. The new leader – Kirill Shevchenko
Kirill Shevchenko became the new president of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation.
His name was entered in the unified state register of legal entities and public entities by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine as the head of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Boxing Federation”. This means that the powers of former President Vladimir Prodivus as head of the organization have come to an end. The changes to the registry became known today, June 15.
It should be noted that Prodivus has been Head of the FBU since 2008. On December 17, 2021, Volodymyr Prodivus was officially re-elected as President of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation, but 11 regional federations immediately boycotted the reporting and election conference, accusing the FBU of electoral fraud.
Note that Prodivus does not condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In 2022, Prodivus was elected vice chairman of the board of the International Boxing Association (IBA), headed by Russian Umar Kremlev.
