Emelianenko and Datsik strangely preparing for battle. Will cleaning manure really help in the ring?

The duel between boxing veterans is already turning into a circus.
Alexander Emelianenko and Vyacheslav Datsik had a long conflict in absentia and finally got the opportunity to meet in the ring. The long-awaited fight according to the rules of boxing will take place in September: the opponents have even held a signature duel of views.
Now the organizers are doing everything possible to draw the attention of the public to the fight. However, the entertainment of the future fight, many have already called into question. Instead of preparing for a fight, one of its participants “fights the green snake”, and the other – chasing chickens.
Will it be a battle of legends or a circus show?
Belt won’t fit
Heavyweights Alexander Emelianenko and Vyacheslav Datsik finally met face to face. The duel of views that took place demonstrated the seriousness of the plans of the two fighters: odious boxers are ready to fight in the ring. The confrontation is scheduled for September, but there is no exact date yet.
A few weeks ago it seemed that this fight was in jeopardy. Emelianenko appeared in public in a deplorable state – he could hardly move and barely spoke. Both fans and some colleagues in the shop were seriously worried about his health. Alexander Shlemenko even suggested that in a few months we would no longer see the brother of the Last Emperor.
But now, it seems, Alexander’s affairs are on the mend. In public, he looked much more cheerful. He merrily tried on the belt for which the fight would go, made fun of his opponent, saying that he would not fit on Datsik. Vyacheslav, however, was also not against funny jokes – he suggested that Emelianenko bet on his victory.
“I will win this fight. I will put money on myself in order to earn even more, said Emelianenko.
“Three months is enough”
– I train here, at Torpedo, with Oleg Vladimirovich Menshikov, then I leave for Yekaterinburg for a month, where I train with sparring partners. And then I come here for an eyeliner. Three months before the fight will be absolutely enough for me, ”Alexander told the fans.
By the way, Emelianenko had already left for Yekaterinburg in May, just after the interview, as a result of which many were worried about the health of the fighter. He arrived in the Urals in order to come to his senses. Before the start of serious training, the once promising fighter needed to get rid of alcohol addiction.
Prohibition does not apply in Yekaterinburg, but there is a suitable rehabilitation center. Temptations and badly influencing comrades, probably, are also less in the Ural city. Alexander, having cleansed his body a little, began to share with subscribers video reports from his training, where he ran and practiced blows on the bag.
It seemed that the fighter was overcoming the crisis and would soon move on to serious training. Everything was ruined by a trip to a press conference in Moscow. In the capital, Emelianenko Jr. again succumbed to the old temptations. Several videos with a fighter appeared on the network, in which he again loses to alcohol on points.
And yet, according to the latest information, it was possible to wrest Alexander from the clutches of alcohol addiction. On June 27, his manager announced that the fighter was starting the active phase of training. Now Emelianenko is waiting for a training camp on the eve of the autumn fight.
For doubters, Alexander even posted a video from his morning run. He ran, though not very cheerfully. Subscribers even joked that the fighter seemed to be in a hurry for a beer. But the main thing here is to start working and not break down anymore. Then there will be a chance that Emelianenko will at least get to the ring, and at best he will be at least remotely similar to himself during his professional career.
Old school in action
– Sanya, I hope we show the superfight like real old-school fighters. So get ready, get ready and tie with a green snake, – with these words, through the YouTube channel True Gym, Datsik turned to his future rival.
While Emelianenko was preparing for a boxing match, fighting the “serpent” with varying success, Datsik began an impromptu camp somewhere in the countryside. Perhaps he was pleased to associate himself with Rocky Balboa, who was preparing for a principled duel with Ivan Drago. Or Red Tarzan decided that in order to defeat his opponent in his current form, it would be enough for him to simply plunge into the village life.
You should not blame the fighter too much: Vyacheslav honestly plowed. And not figuratively, but literally. The comrade harnessed Red Tarzan to the plow, and he diligently plowed the field. Vyacheslav even criticized his colleague for not loading him enough!
The matter was not limited to one extravagant exercise. Next, Datsik started cleaning the barn. Not the Augean stables, of course, but in handling a shovel, Vyacheslav really resembled Hercules. After a confident victory over manure, Red Tarzan began training his hands – he went to milk the cow. It was obviously not the first time he did this, deftly handling the udder. At the same time, the fighter kept talking about the benefits of real milk, which cannot be found in any store.
Datsik’s rural training continued in the chicken coop, where he began chasing chickens and even aroused the wrath of a rooster. Vyacheslav coped with the agility exercise: the unfortunate white hen was caught and neutralized. Declaring that no birds were harmed during filming, Red Tarzan let go of the chicken. On this, apparently, another training day ended.
Against the backdrop of all this “preparation”, one can only hope that in the fall the boxers in the ring will not disappoint. The seriousness of their attitude before the actively promoted duel still raises many questions.

Inoue reacted harshly to the question of who is the best boxer in the world
Absolute world champion in the second lightweight category Naoya Inoue After beating David, Picasso commented on his place in the pound-for-pound rankings.
Inoue said, “Yes Usyk came to watch my fight. But I should have done much better in the fight. So I won’t say anything about the P4P rankings, I will do much better next time.”
On Saturday, December 27, a large-scale Ring V boxing night was held at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The main event of the show was the fight for the title of absolute world champion, where Japanese star Naoya Inoue and Mexican rival Alan David Picasso fought. The Japanese boxer managed to win a convincing victory – the fight went through all 12 rounds.

Inoue showed his superiority over another opponent. Who will stop him?
On December 27, the Samurai Night tournament was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of the main event of the card, Japanese absolute world champion Naoya Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) defended his status in the fight against 25-year-old Mexican representative David Allen Picasso (32-1-1, 17 KOs).
This was Naoya’s fourth fight of 2025. He made a confident move towards the Japanese mega-fight against Junto Nakatani, who also boxed on the card.
Picasso didn’t stand a chance. Inoue showed that boxing is ten times better!
Naoya Inoue is the absolute most active and generally the most active boxer among those who are usually among the leaders in the pound-for-pound rankings (the best boxers outside their weight categories). Terence Crawford has been away from the ring for a year. He returned to defeat Saul Alvarez before announcing his retirement.
Alexander Usyk returned to the ring faster. He beat Daniel Dubois in 5 rounds and refused to box again. He even left his WBO belt vacant because he didn’t want to fight Fabio Wardley.
Naoya Inoue promised to get in the ring four times and he kept his promise. Moreover, he was not afraid of anyone. Organizations met anyone they put in front of them. Thus, he defeated Ye Jun Kim, Ramon Cardenas and Murodjon Akhmadaliev. And today David Picasso.
The Mexican was not considered the main threat to the Japanese on this list. This status was given to him only by Mexicans and Picasso’s fans. However, Murodjon Akhmadaliev was considered the main contender for victory. And the Japanese, by the decision of the judges, defeated him without any chance.
With his long arms, great height and good striking ability, Picasso was still not the number one candidate to win. But it’s a pretty good competitor and boxer to say this wasn’t a close match. But Inoue created the conditions to make it seem like the opponent was a nobody.
Naoya did whatever he wanted in the ring. I wanted to pin him near the ropes and in the corners. If he wanted, he could take his opponent out of there. He boxed if necessary. You quarreled with your opponent if you need to give something new. He hit my head and hit my torso. The only thing Inoue couldn’t achieve was a knockout.
The Japanese hit hard. Many of them were achieved with clean blows. But David Picasso endured. He withstood everything: both in the head and in the body. Both combination hits and one-time hits. Credit must be given to the Mexican here.
Picasso also landed some good left hooks. They dribbled past the opponent’s defense and didn’t exactly stun him, but they struck often enough to make those shots count. At the same time, David’s team also paid attention to this. They said until the end that this was his chance. They motivated him before the championship round by telling him that all he had to do was hit the side kick and everything would come.
However, the conversations remained at the level of theoretical visions of the situation. Picasso’s hits posed no real threat to Inoue. Naoya ate what he slept on. And he did not allow others to hit him.
Final referee decisions: 119–109, 120–108 and 117–111. Unanimous decision in favor of the Japanese champion.
What happens now?
If nothing goes wrong, there is a meeting with Junto Nakatani in the future. What could get in your way? It’s hard to come up with ideas here. Maybe it’s a fight that makes even more money.
But it is difficult to imagine such a rival right now. Inoue won’t go higher yet. And the same Jesse Rodriguez will not be promoted from the minor leagues yet.
Does Junto have a chance? Theoretically, everyone has a chance. The problem is the practicality of using all this. Nakatani showed that he had many problems.
His match against Sebastian Reyes was not an outstanding start in the new league, but something resembling a defeat. It cannot be said that Junto definitely lost. However, he did not win. A draw would be a logical decision.
Reyes hit too hard and caused a hematoma to form on his opponent’s face. And Nakatani lasted so long against his opponent that Inoue could have knocked him out more than once during this period.
but confrontation will still sell. First of all, the dominant Naoi no longer has any other rivals. He needs to switch majors to get them, and he doesn’t plan on doing that. Secondly, everyone in Japan will come to see the two idols. It will be possible to fill any large arena. You can even sell streams to local audiences. And these are excellent controls and just a historical event.
A competitive struggle is not always a profitable one. The meeting between Spence and Crawford wasn’t competitive, but it worked. More than 30 million people watched the fight between Joshua and Paul, but it was not clear what happened. Nakatani vs. Inoue looks like a fight that could be both more competitive and raise enough money.
And if it doesn’t work competitively, nothing can be done. This means Naoya will prove once again that he is the undisputed leaderR.
