Sergey DEREVYANCHENKO: “I want to fight any of the middleweight champions”
36-year-old Ukrainian boxer Sergey Derevyanchenko He shared his expectations from the upcoming fight with American Joshua Conley and said that he is ready to fight for the champion title again.
“Everyone will see the improvements I’ve made on fight night. I’ll face an opponent who can hit and move. He won’t be too busy, but I have to be ready for his counterattacks.
It’s a big event and I’m happy to be a part of it. I’m motivated and I know I’m going to get the attention of the fans. It’s always fun to fight at Barclays Center. This is an amazing arena that always gathers a huge crowd. I can’t wait to get back in the ring.
I still feel strong in the middle section. I will continue to work and face the best opponents just to get back to the championship fight. “I want to fight any of the middleweight champions,” said Derevyanchenko.
Note that Sergei had three championship games in his career, but lost in all of them.
The duel with Conley will take place on July 30.
