Cherevchenko said he would like to return to Lokomotiv if the opportunity presents itself
Former head coach of Lokomotiv Igor Cherevchenko said that he would like to lead this team again in the future.
– Would you like to return to Lokomotiv, if possible? Of course, this is not even discussed. This is my home club. But I don’t know if that will be possible.
Is it a shame for the position of the team? I can’t talk about this as a fan or an outsider, because I am a coach. I’ll just say that I’m worried about this, I’m worried about the team,” RB Sport quoted Cherevchenko as saying.
In 2015, Cherevchenko, as an acting head coach, won the Russian Cup with Lokomotiv, then until 2016 he coached the team on an ongoing basis.
