The Russian national football team is likely to play a friendly match with the Kyrgyz team in September, RB Sport reports.
According to the source, the meeting will take place at the end of September, the most likely venue is Bishkek.
Earlier, FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian clubs and national teams from all competitions under the auspices of organizations due to the situation in Ukraine. As it became known to Match TV, the players of the Russian national team will gather at the base in Novogorsk in September.
After the training camp, the national team must fly to Bishkek.
Russia played its last match at the national team level in November 2021. Then the Russian football players lost to Croatia in the selection for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The meeting ended with the score 0:1. The head coach of the national team is Valery Karpin.
