Khimki lost to Orenburg on the road in the match of the eighth round of the MIR of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting in Orenburg ended with the score 3:1. Among the winners, Vladimir Sychevoi and Jimmy Marin scored a double. Alexander Dolgov scored for Khimki.
Khimki lost the fourth match in a row in the RPL. The team was led for the first time by a new head coach, Spartak Gogniev, who replaced Nikolai Pisarev at this post on September 2.
Orenburg scored 9 points and is in tenth place in the Russian Championship standings, Khimki are in 12th position with 7 points. In the ninth round of the RPL, Orenburg will play with Zenit, Khimki – with Wings of the Soviets.
