Those responsible for compiling the MIR calendar of the Russian Premier League (RPL) coordinated the tournament schedule personally with the president of Orenburg, Vasily Eremyakin, the functionary’s criticism caused amazement, said Vasily Konov, deputy general producer of Match TV.
On Saturday, Eremyakin, in a conversation with a Match TV correspondent, harshly criticized the Russian Football Union (RFU) and the calendar, where his club is forced to play only four home matches at the start of the season.

In the 8th round of the RPL Orenburg beat Khimki at home with a score of 3:1. The team scored 9 points and moved up to 9th place in the standings.
