Although Real were slightly superior in the tie, they were unable to materialize that difference on the scoreboard. Recently in the 64th minute and after a wonderful combination down the right which included Dani Carvajal’s pass to Federico Valverde, that set up Rodrigo and the Brazilian made it 2-1 for sure.
The last few minutes were exciting because both gave each other the ball and because of the short score, but Real Madrid had no surprises and ended up with 3 points which keep them as the sole leader and with an ideal score.
