The U.S. Soccer Federation has officially announced that four friendlies will be held as part of the national team’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

Mauricio Pochetti’s team starts the series of control matches with a match against Belgium, which will take place on February 28 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta. In just three days and 31 weeks, the Americans will meet Portugal in which stadium.

Next up for the team is the May 31 game in Charlotte against a rival that can be voted on later. The final phase is the match against Nimechchini, which will take place on June 6 in Chicago.

The federation emphasized that the United States will not lose to any team, but to its group at the world championships.

“For us it is a great opportunity to cheer on the best teams in the world. These are incredible matches for fans and supporters,” said Mauricio Pochettino.

World Championship 2026 will be held in Canada, Mexico and the USA from 11 rubles to 19 rubles. 48 teams will participate in the final tournament. Guess what, the Ukrainian national team has made it to the European Qualifier play-offs.
