It became known who will take the post of president of the Moscow Spartak, 100% of whose shares were acquired by Lukoil.
According to Match TV, the first vice-president of Lukoil, Alexander Matytsyn, who has been with the company for 25 years, will become the president of the club and take the post of chairman of the board of directors. It is noted that the functionary was close to Spartak during the entire reign of the ex-president of the club Leonid Fedun.
Veste with Matytsyn, another person from Lukoil will come to one of the leading positions in the club.
It is also reported that the current general director of the club, Yevgeny Melezhikov, will retain his post, the commercial unit with the club’s press service will remain unchanged.
On August 22, Lukoil announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in the club, as well as the Otkritie Bank Arena stadium. Leonid Fedun, who headed the club, left the posts of chairman of the board of directors and president of Spartak. The company noted that Fedun will not take part in the management of the club.
