Wayne Rooney has sold a luxurious mansion for 3.7 million pounds – media
Former England striker Wayne Rooney has sold his 5-bedroom family mansion dubbed Wayne’s World. The Sun wrote about it.
According to the source, the deal amounted to 3.7 million pounds, the name of the buyer was not disclosed.
The Rooney family bought the site in Prestbury, Cheshire, for £1.5 million in 2005, demolishing the 1930s house to make way for the mansion. On the territory of the house there is a swimming pool, a gym, a cinema and a mini football field.
Rooney is currently the head coach of MLS club DC United.
