Former Lokomotiv football player Dmitry Bulykin believes that all German specialists should be removed from the team’s coaching staff.
Lokomotiv announced on Monday that specialist Marvin Compper is leaving the railroad coaching staff, and head coach Josef Zinnbauer will decide on the formation of the staff, the preparation of the team and the determination of the composition for the game. Previously, this was actually done by Compper, who has been working at Lokomotiv since 2021.
– Of course, this can shake up the players a little, but it would be effective if they removed all the Germans from the coaching staff and forgot about the German strategy, putting in a good coach who will take care of the team.
In terms of the selection of players, in terms of quality and skill, Lokomotiv should fight for medals, and not lag somewhere in the middle. The Germans still do not fully understand the specifics of our championship.
It is clear that the German model did not suit Lokomotiv and it needs to be finished as soon as possible, Bulykin told RB Sport.
Lokomotiv is 9th in the RPL table with 9 points in 8 rounds.
