The head coach of “Wings of the Soviets” Igor Osinkin is not surprised that the players of the Samara team were included in the extended list of the Russian national team for the September training camp.

On Wednesday, the RFU announced the expanded composition of the Russian national team of 35 players for the training camp. The list includes four players of “Wings of the Soviets”: goalkeeper Ivan Lomaev, midfielders Alexander Kovalenko, Maxim Glushenkov, Roman Yezhov.

– Lomaev has been in the team goalkeepers for a long time. Apparently, now decided to look at him. Ivan had a good match with CSKA, which was attended by Yuri Nikiforov. Perhaps, including this, he was included in the extended list.

Kovalenko plays a fairly significant role in the “Wings” – clearly adds. Everyone sees progress. Yezhov was already on the extended list of the national team. Yezhov, along with Glushenkov, are the leaders of the Wings, which influence the game. We were not surprised that the guys were on the extended list of the national team. Earlier, the RFU announced that the national team will play a friendly match with the Kyrgyz team in Bishkek on September 24. The RFU also reached an agreement to hold an away game with Iran in November and is negotiating the organization of a third autumn meeting. According to Vasily Konov, Deputy General Producer of Match TV, the meeting with Iran will most likely take place in Tehran, but a fallback option is also being considered – a neutral field. The third rival of Russia in a friendly game could be the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
