Lewandowski named Champions League Player of the Week
Barcelona’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has been named Champions League Player of the Week. site UEFA.
In the first round of the group stage, Barcelona defeated Viktoria Pilsen 5-1 with a score of 5:1. Lewandowski scored a hat-trick.
Bayern winger Leroy Sane (1 goal, 1 assist), PSG forward Kylian Mbappe (2 goals) and Napoli midfielder Piotr Zelinsky (2 goals, 1 assist) also claimed the title of the best player of the week.
Lewandowski joined Barcelona in July 2022.
