The challenge to the expert was made by the editor-in-chief of the information department of Match TV Sergey Khvostik.
The next round of MIR RPL is coming up, and we are again trying to imagine what it will be like. Last week, Alexander Bubnov won once again, and the separation of the expert from the editorial board already looks simply indecent. This time, editor-in-chief Sergey Khvostik will fight with the former defender of the USSR national team. Will the unsuccessful series of Sportbox.ru be interrupted?
Sochi – Dynamo
Alexander Bubnov – 1:1. Dynamo has not lost a single match so far. The White-Blues have a strong and stable line of attack. In Sochi, everything is decided by the middle line, which controls the pace of the match. I expect a double-edged game in which there will be no winner.
Sergey Khvostik – 3:1. An equal match of equal teams, which is confirmed by the standings. However, Sochi looks preferable due to the factor of the home stadium (albeit almost always half empty). In addition, the game shown by the Tochilin-Garanin team is inconvenient for Dynamo. Muscovites will have to open up, and under Jokanovic they are used to sitting in a “house”.
Khimki – Wings of the Soviets
AB – 1:2. Changes are still taking place in Khimki. Naturally, this affects the game of the team. The team lost the match against Orenburg and is unlikely to be in a good mood. Everything is calm in Krylia: they trust the coach, the players demonstrate their football… The favorite is obvious.
CX – 2:2. The most interesting match of the tour. In the second game under the leadership of Spartak Gogniev, Khimki must finally show the game that the new coach wants to see – at least its outline. If the Red-Blacks don’t run against the Samara team and start tearing up, then nothing will help them.
CSKA – Krasnodar
AB – 2:1. CSKA will make every effort to win and take second place, as well as break away from the pursuers. But the army team needs to prepare for a tough fight. Just like that, Krasnodar will not give up three points, but the hosts’ advantage in experience will eventually do its job.
CX – 1:2. Southerners show interesting, fun, but immature football. However, the current CSKA is still raw, so I’ll risk betting on the victory of Krasnodar.
Akhmat – Pari NN
AB – 1:0. Surely “Akhmat” is now on the verge. The victory over Lokomotiv in the minority is worth a lot! Andrey Talalaev’s team will try to strengthen its position in front of its fans. However, Grozny residents should be wary of standards and counterattacks of the guests.
CX – 1:1. If Grozny fail to score in the first half, Nizhny will definitely win in the second (just kidding). But seriously, it will most likely be an equal game plus or minus equal opponents, so I bet on a low draw.
Ural – Torpedo
AB – 1:0. It is clear that both teams are outsiders of the championship. But the Urals are still not as bad as the Torpedo. Ekaterinburgers will be helped by native walls and the presence of leaders in the attack – first of all, such a player as Eric Bikfalvi. Viktor Gancharenko has a lot of experience, and now he also has the depth of the squad thanks to recent transfers. I am sure: “Ural” will take its toll.
SH – 2:0. The two saddest clubs at the moment. If the “Ural” and Shalimov, and Gancharenko sometimes looked like a game, then the Muscovites – this is the stuff of Russian football. There is nothing in the team that can please. Except perhaps two penalties beaten off by Baburin with Rostov. But with such a defense, put up even Neuer – it will be of little use.
Fakel – Lokomotiv
AB – 0:1. Both teams recently parted ways with their coaches. But the situations are different. “Torch” lost Oleg Vasilenko, who was a favorite of the public and players. Zinnbauer remained in Loko, who already knows the players quite well. The composition of the railway workers is classier, and this will be a key factor in this situation.
CX – 2:2. A meeting of teams that lost their head coaches in the middle of the week (we will assume that it was Marvin Compper who actually coached the Muscovites). However, coaching changes should not greatly affect the teams. No one has come to Fakel yet, and in the upcoming match they will play on Vasilenko’s luggage. And Zinnbauer is unlikely to be able to greatly rebuild in a few days what is now called “Lokomotiv’s game.”
Zenit – Orenburg
AB – 3:0. Everything is very clear here. Zenit destroys everyone in its field, and Orenburg has not yet taken a single point away. The Petersburgers will win – and they will win big.
CX – 4:0. “Orenburg” has already achieved three victories in the championship, which is not bad for a beginner. But Khimki, Ural and Torpedo are one thing, and Zenit is quite another. I expect a defeat from the team of Sergei Semak.
Rostov – Spartak
AB – 2:1. Spartak always plays hard in Rostov. It will not be easier this time either, because the Red-Whites have lost important players: Ruslan Litvinov and Martins Pereira. We’ll have to rebuild, and this plays into the hands of Valery Karpin, who just has no personnel problems. We expect a hard game from the first to the last minute, in which the hosts will be stronger.
SH – 3:2. According to the poster – the main match of the tour. But the game may turn out to be the same as it was for the Rostovites with CSKA – several dangerous moments in 90 minutes and the final 0-0. The Red-Whites lost four key midfield players before the match – Ruslan Litvinov, Christopher Martins and a little earlier Anton Zinkovsky. And even before Victor Moses. Therefore, the played pair of southerners Glebov and Utkin will surely outplay the rhombus, which, according to tradition, will be built in the center of the field by Guillermo Abascal. I would venture to suggest that the Spaniard will move Daniil Denisov to the center, and Daniil Khlusevich can come out on the right, freeing the left edge of Maciej Rybus. Plus, we must not forget that Muscovites will get to Rostov-on-Don in a roundabout way through Stavropol, which cannot but affect their form. Based on all these factors – the victory of Rostov.
