The honorary president of the RFU, Vyacheslav Koloskov, believes that it is worth selling not only beer, but also stronger alcoholic beverages at football, this will help the audience achieve “full pleasure”.
The Russian national team plans to hold a friendly match with the Iranian team in November. According to RB Sport, the RFU may consider selling beer if the game is held in Moscow. RFU President Alexander Dyukov did not rule out this scenario.
– I have already said that vodka should also be returned to the stadiums. Coming to football, people should enjoy it to the fullest. Who wants to get drunk, he will do it before. Still, they come to the arena to relax, so it would be quite comfortable to drink 100 grams and eat. It should not be in some diner, but in a good place. I haven’t been to the Bolshoi Theater for a long time, but they sell champagne and caviar there too. Nobody drinks there. Of course, it is difficult to compare the Bolshoi Theater with a stadium, but we must strive for this. We could argue that selling beer at a national team match would be a good precedent, but we don’t make the decision,” Koloskov told Match TV.
