The representative of the Russian midfielder of the club “Fatih Karagyumryuk” Magomed Ozdoev Anzor Gargaev believes that now there is no great need to call the legionnaires to the Russian national team to play with Kyrgyzstan.

The 29-year-old football player was not included in the extended squad of the Russian national team for a friendly match with Kyrgyzstan. The game will take place on September 24 in Bishkek.

“We did not discuss with Magomed his return to the Russian national team,” Gargaev told RB Sport. – There is also Dziuba. Golovin will not come. Miranchuk did not get into the squad, Cheryshev. There is a large group of players who could get in.

– Karpin or one of the coaches of the Russian national team explained to Magomed why he was not included in the extended squad?

– My opinion is that the head coach of the national team should not explain his decisions to the players. If you explain to one, then you need to do the same for all the players from the Premier League who did not make it to the national team.

– After Euro 2020, Ozdoev was never called up to the Russian national team. Does he have some kind of conflict with Karpin?

– No, Magomed is not a conflict person. Moreover, there have never been conflicts with Karpin. And it’s not even planned.

– Karpin was asked why Ozdoev was not in the squad, and he referred to logistics. Is it really so difficult to get to Russia from Turkey now? Like planes are flying.
