Midfielder of the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miralem Pjanic spoke out against the decision to hold a friendly match with the Russian team.
On Friday, the Russian Football Union (RFU) announced that it had reached an agreement in principle to hold a friendly match with the Bosnian national team. The Bosnian Football Union announced that the teams will play on November 19 in St. Petersburg.
— I heard about the decision of the federation. The leaders know my position. They called and asked what I thought about the possible holding of the game. I said what I think, and then I was surprised by another decision. Bad decision! I have no words. When a team starts to play well, something always goes wrong. The Federation knows my position. I’ll just say it’s not good,” Pjanic said. sportske.ba.
The Russian national team will also play a friendly match with Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek on September 24. In addition, the RFU agreed to hold a guest meeting with Iran in November.
